The conditions to be met are as follow;
- Be a natural or legal person whose activity consists of testing telecommunications equipment for commercial purposes.
- Have at least one technical staff registered with the national order of electrical engineering engineers.
The documents to furnish are as follows;
- A form, to be collected from the agency, duly completed and stamped at the current rate, addressed to the Director General of L’ART.
- A copy of the certificate of registration in the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register issued by the clerk of the court of first instance.
- A certified copy of the tax payer’s card issued by the tax office.
- A location map and any other information specifying the applicant’s contact details, issued by the relevant local tax authorities.
- A certificate of non-indebtedness for legal entities established in Cameroon, issued by the tax authorities with territorial jurisdiction, where applicable.
- A commitment to employ on a full-time basis at least one engineer registered on the roll of national order of electrical engineering engineers.
- An ISO certificate for the laboratory’s equipment and/or other documents guaranteeing the quality of the tests.
- A receipt issued by the agency for payment of the cost of studying the application etc.
In addition to the documents listed above:
For individuals
A certificate of enrolment on the roll of the National Order of Electrical Engineers.
For Legal Entities
A commitment to employ on a full-time basis at least one engineer registered on the roll of the National Order of Electrical Engineers.
