ASSISTANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF AN OPTICIAN IN CAMEROON

The optician may be assisted or replaced by one or more colleagues.
The remuneration of the assistant optician is fixed by agreement
between the parties.
The average duration of a replacement may not exceed one (1) year,
except in cases of force majeure as determined by the Council of the
Order; in this case, it is extended to two (2) years, renewable once.

In the event of the death of an optician, the period during which his
successors may maintain the practice in activity, by having it managed
by a replacement, may not exceed five (5) years, renewable once.

If, during the period mentioned above, one of the children of the
deceased is engaged in the study of optician, this practice may be
reserved for him.
The terms and conditions of replacement are the same as those laid
down for the authorization to practice the profession of the optician.
