According to decree no. 89-354 of March 1989, the medical-health professional must assist the authorities in the field of public health protection and the organization of the permanence of
care.
He must also notify the public health services of all cases of communicable diseases, as well as the statistical elements necessary for public health.
The medical-health professional authorized to practice his profession within occupational medicine in an industrial or commercial enterprise must communicate his contract of employment to the Ministry of Public Health and the Council of the Order within one month of taking up his duties.
A private medical and health professional who does not own the equipment he or she uses or the premises in which he or practices his profession must communicate the contract by the conditions set out in the previous paragraph.
