ESTABLISHING THE COMPULSORY WEARING OF CLOTHES IN ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HEALTH ESTABLISHMENTS AND IN INSTITUTIONS FOR HEALTH PERSONNEL

By Law No 104 A/MSP/DSP/SDFS, it is instituted in all public and private health establishments, and all health personnel
the compulsory wearing of uniforms for all health personnel whatever their category.
The characteristics and colors of these outfits depend on the qualification of the staff concerned.
In health facilities, the differentiation of personnel, taking into account their qualification, is fixed as follows:


(a) Doctors: white blouse, long-sleeved cross neck


(b) Paramedical staff
i. Qualified nurses and equivalent: White coat with blue bar;
ii. State-qualified nurses and equivalent: White short-sleeved gowns without
bars;
iii. Midwives and delivery nurses: white gown with pink bar;
iv. Nurses’ aids: White gown with a yellow collar.


(c) Cleaners (ward girls and boys): Khaki blouse.


d) School uniforms
– School for nurses’ aides: White blouse, white collar.
– School for nurses and midwives: white gowns with no bar.
